Hey guys new here, I have a 2001 road kin classic, 88 ci, have a small oil drip, looks kinda like coming from these wires. In this picture Ive already cleaned up around the wires but is this a potential spot to leak?if so whats the fix?
Those are the stator wires and can definitely leak. On my 99 I tried silicon a few times, which worked for short periods but never really lasted. Only fix was to dig in and replace the grommet.

clean the area real good and use some permatex flowable silicone.
I gave it a spray with brake clean and used a toothbrush to get all around the groove in the grommet, Then I ran a little bit of black RTV gasket maker around it under the lip
stators are a common leak point. You cannot buy the grommet. As said you can try RTV. Another option is just spray it down with brake clean periodically,
Some day when you have the primary off you could change it, based on age if you wan to. Thats is what I did with the 2 I had that leaked.
Thanks for the input, I got some flowable silicone and used that, I will see how that works! If that doesnt work, how involved is it to change the grommet? Thanks for the input!

It is not changeable. You need buy a new stator. Which is why I said it might not be worth it. Wasn;t for me for a few years when I had primary off for something else.
You'll need to remove the outer primary cover, along with the compensator, primary chain, and clutch basket to even get close to it.
Unless you grind inner primary you will need to remove inner primary.I debate if at that point it is just as easy to pull inner primary once comp/clutch out.
