I have a 01 RK. I bought a set of NOS OEM mufflers a couple years back. I drilled the plugs out in the rear and the plug on the left side at the inlet. The right side muffler doesnt have a plug, rather a mesh screen inlet I drilled a couple of small holes through the mesh.
The part numbers are:
65846-95b right side with the mesh
65538-95b left side center plug on both ends
I picked up another set of NOS OEMs (guessing they are older)
These both have the plugs on inlet and exhaust
65539-95a
65538-95a
So whats the difference internally between the 65539-95a and the 65538-95a and -95b
Will the earlier 95a mufflers be more or less restrictive than the later 95b jimmies???
