Very nice sounding mufflers for sure. DEEEEEEEP Thunder likesoundand just the right volume for cruising. Nice open flow non restricted absolute100% Harley Davidsonsound when cracked or wrung out to 4000-4500 rpms and whacked open through 1st 2nd and 3rd gear. Big statement to make but........I think I finally found what I was looking for. Great power. These DID NOT zap out my lower end torque by any means and I had no, (zip, zero, nada,zilch-) popping whatsoever. Running totally stock 05 EGlide Classic FI except for these. Just thought I'd share since I've posted about the mufflers that I didn't like. Give em a hear.. I think Bob will even take em back if you don't like em(sans shipping of course). Best190 bucks I've spent, and in the world Harleys flagship bikethats saying something...........Ride safe... Later..
Glad you're thrilled -- Just ordered a set yesterday. My RK sounds like a Buick when you rip the throttle (currently, I get a nice, gentle "vaaaaarrrrrrooooommmm") and I need some "CRACK!" to scare the deer away without being obnoxious under normal circumstances.
But for $150, I figured I couldn't really go wrong anyway, eh?
If it helps, I'm an audio engineer by trade... No doubt, I'll have sound clips on my site soon after they're installed (as I did when I put RH65's on my Sabre). Although I'm running a '96 (80 c.i. Evo) but hopefully, it'll give an idea of the flavor.
Bet you'll like em. I ordered from BOBVIC on ebay. Originally had 100 set of modded stockers which were not to my liking. These arestockers but with a new baffle core installed and I am so glad I went with 2 inch instead of 1.75's. Yes they do sound better than Rush 1.75's in my opinion- I don't know about Rush2's though beacuse I haven't heard them so I can't comment. These are like dual personality muffler being rumbley when you want them to and being barky when you need them to.
I've got over 10,000 miles on my '06 SG with the B&E Superflows and I've been very happy with the sound, performance and price. BobVic is a stand up guy.
