I have an '07 Ultra with 103 Stage 2, SE-255 cams, V&H True duals with Wide Ovals, and Arlen Ness A/C. I have a PCIII now tuned on dyno.I'm getting 29-32 MPG. Is there anyone out there using the Fuelpak, and what mileage are you getting with it?? I just would liketo see at least 38 MPG??!!
I ride an 07 ultra with the fuel pack. V&H true duals w/the basic slip ons and an AN big sucka ac. Last ride the wife and I went almost 1300 miles thru upper New York down to Niagra Falls. This part of the trip we did not ride any highway and averaged mid forties per gallon. When we left the Buffalo area and headed back to central Ct I rode 460 miles almost all highway and got high thirties and low forties. Very happy with these numbers considering that we were two up with a couple changes of clothing each.
If you want good gas mileage you should have left off all the high performance mods that you did to the bike. Bikes are no different than cars.... the more you hot rod them the less mpg's you are going to get. It's not rocket science !!!
On my 07 I get 39-40mpg around town. We just took a trip to WV and got about 45mpg on the highway. Of course that is alot of mountain highway riding too. I imagine on a flat highway mileage would probably be even better.
As my sig says, I have an A/N Big Sucker, V/H oval slip-ons, and a Fuel-pak and I consistently get 44-48+ mpg riding 2 up. When riding out here in New Mexico, you'll encounter a diverse mix of mountain and straight flat roads but the mileage doesn't vary that much. I would suspect your mods are the main culprit in your lower mileage - I've hopped up my truck a bit and got lower gas mileage because of it.
