Seats are generally going to span the 1997-2007 Model Years.
It's been a long time since I did my research on seats...but I seem to recall there being a simple way to retrofit a newer seat to this frame. I'm sure there is someone here with a better memory than mine who can add info. For some reason I want to say the '08 seat would work on the older bikes IF you bolted a 'slide tongue' (or whatever that piece that slides into the frame is) to the seat. Not sure how all that applied to the '09-up seats tho...
I ordered those shocks, gonna try those and see how I like them, if too low or dont like them for whatever reason, I may change seat. Seems like the newer seats are easier to find
Well I got the shocks on and it definitely made a big difference, got it lowered a couple inches for sure! But it sure did ruin the ride compared to the air shocks but I kinda expected that tho. But also had it in the firmest setting, Im almost always riding 2 up, got back and dropped it 2 settings and will ride it again later. I already miss the ride with the air shocks tho, so a new lower seat and air shocks back on the bike may be coming soon lol.
