These are off my 2010 RK.......left plug is front cylinder, right is rear.
To me, they look like I'm running too lean.
Then again, I'm coming from decades of my carbed 81 shovelhead.
I'm still pretty new to the "newer" bikes where everything is controlled by an ECM.
That being the case, should I just surrender myself to the ECM and trust that it's making the right fuel mixture decisions?
BTW......bike is running fantastic, starts immediately and no problems at all.
I know....."not broken dont fix it"!
Just sayin.......these plugs look lean to me.

Look good. Also today's fuel additives influence reading plug a lot. Extremes can be judge but the wide path between is questionable .
Unless the tune has been messed with or changes that lean it out and tune is not matched to it. These bikes are good to go most of the time.
On my second M8 now and 30K plug changes are the norm running standard plugs.
I know I will cause a debate. If, my bikes plugs were similar,I would say the bike is running too lean.. Electrodes should be light brown in color. Like toast. I would get a tuner and richen the mixture a bit. Sure today's machinery runs hot, that doesn't mean it's running at optimum level. Too lean a mixture is not good for an engine neither is too rich.
