Just FYI, the "brass" part is actually steel, it's just cadmium plated. Kinda like grade 8 bolts. I had the plain road sofa for about 6 months (5k miles). I liked the look and the riding position, but my butt/back did not like it after about an hour on a ride. Plus, the wife was not a fan. I ended up selling it last year and went with a Mustang Super Touring Summit. We both like this seat much better, particularly on longer rides. Not saying it's a bad seat or anything, and you may end up loving it. It just wasn't right for us. Keep in mind, it will break in some, but that can take a while. Saddleman says ~1k miles, but it can vary.
