Loosing power while in gear

I a buddy with 2018 RG. It will rev to red line in neutral but while in gear and riding it falls on its face around 2 to 3 thousand rpm… I’m going to try and test the twist grip tonight but I’m kinda stuck on this one

That happened to me on my 2018 Ultra Limited and HD had to replace my clutch basket. After that, did not have any more issues loosing power in gear.

A weak/dying coil will fail under load. No idea how to test one though. Do check your spark wires for poor connections at both ends and chaffing.
