I would leave it in the sun and/or help it along with a hair dryer.

The water got in and it can evaporate it's way out.

I fixed a friends unit after nothing at all worked.. I drilled 3 small holes in the back of the unit. I magic markered areas that would be hidden when installed and left it in the sun. Then used a dab of bathtub clear silicone. It did dry out but there were water spots. Granted it was a 20 year old heritage we did this on and werent too worried...

As mentioned sunlight will clear it up ... HD gauges are notorious for clouding up in rain / heavy humidity ... A stint in the sun clears them up

Yes I experienced this on my fuel gauge as well after one day of really heavy rain (all day) as bike was sitting outside

I found perfect way to do this. Luckily I have this heat lamp that help me heal my old body and this thing is shooting some good heat. Lamp is clearing up in front of my eyes

Don't put it too close as it is hot.

P.S. Works wonders on old bones, strains, pulled muscles and other aches. Highly recommend you can get this bulb in any Menard.

10 min later looks like new

I use a power washer some times on my bikes but I also use restraint. It’s low pressure and also the wide angle and distance to disperse the energy. I never use it to remove bugs on lights for this very reason because you have to concentrate the stream on them.

For bugs on lights and windshield I’ll normally throw a rag over them and let them soak and soften while I work on other items like cleaning the rims. Then they just wipe off.
