I've pulled automotive headlights apart before to modify them, haven't done passing laps or motorcycle headlights before. If they have a silicone type material holding the halves together, they can be heated up and pulled apart, dried out and put back together. Odds are you'll have to buy a new one though. Post some pics if you decide to mess around with them, might help someone else out.

I think it will dry out eventually. Would leave it a few days. Meantime your photo reminds me of a pet peeve of mine. Why can’t they make a headlight trim ring that doesn’t leave such a big gap at the adjuster screw?
