And your wallet gets skinny. One thing always leads to another. I thought it would be cool to have a backrest again, and ended up with a new seat, new backrest, and a fender rack. My wife thought I needed counseling, but when I remind her about you I'm safe again for a while. 🤣
I am just waiting for you to be the first one to trade it in, and throw all that money down the drain!

Vehicle registration and insurance is insanely expensive in Nevada, otherwise that foolish trade would have already happened.
I have a different plan in the works. A local friend has a 7k mile 117 take-out engine from his Street Glide ST, and some new parts to go along with it - RS468 cam, S&S lifters and adjustable pushrods, HPI 62mm throttle body & manifold, and a set of 5.5 pound injectors.
That should make about 140 square and still be reliable. I've resisted more performance for too long.

Brother, that will not make 140 squared, unfortunately. That will yield about 120hp / 138tq maybe hit the 140 on the tq with the right tuner.
NOTHING wrong with that, though!!
You would love that cam, I ran it for years in my 128 until recently
ETA: since it is out, you could add large cylinders, OR add level Z heads, that may net you another 6-8 HP with that cam...or go with a different cam if you want to chase some numbers with that displacement

Oh damn, you're right. I just went back and re-read some charts at FM........ my head hasn't worked right since I got back from The Keys 🤪 Thanks for setting me straight.
