Today I installed the HD Smart Siren II kit on my EG Classic. Now I have a nice little chirp when I arm or dis-arm the security system. If you shake the bike it gives off a really loud chirp, and it says that next it will do a 30 second siren, although I have not done that yet.
One thing I was not sure of and could not find in my search here, is that you can use this without buying the pager and your existing key fob works just fine. So down the road if I want to get the pager, the siren with transmitter is already there and ready to go.
If I read your question correctly, yes, down the road you can use a pager with the Siren II system. Just make sure you buy a Siren II pager. Tip: Don't use the belt clip with the pager. Don't ask why not, trust me just don't.

A nice easy installation too.
Where does the siren install on the touring models?
The belt clip holder for the standard pager is worthless. However, there is a new rechargeable pager that has is awesome and holds fast on the belt or pant lip. The pager is nice feature.

07 and back go under the ecm holder under right side cover, 08 goes in front of fuse block under left side cover
It was a very easy install on my 06 - under the right side cover there's two nuts and the ECM assembly comes off. The cable to plug the siren to is right there on the back of the assembly so you just take off the cap, plug in the siren box, put it in the space provided just for the box and bolt the assembly back into place. Some velcro holds the antenna onto the frame and you're done. Pretty cool and I like having a little noise now instead of just blinking lights...
Even though the siren is great, I have set mine off by accident in parking lots but nobody checks it out to see if I'm stealing the bike. The pager is what ya need so you can get there just in time to write down the license plate of the van that is hauling your scoote away.
