You can see the stitching is off center without even looking at the bike. I've never been a big fan of Corbin.

Mine has a bit of gap in the front, for the price maybe shouldn't be there. But I don't think of it often,

What did **** me off was how hard it was to get on. It was a grade mother ___. I believe the said to lube the rubber mounts, which I did. I had one hell of a fight getting the back screw in, It said after some miles it would loose up. Not sure what it has to be so tight fitting, I have not taken it off, because I am afraid to get it back on. Laugh, but it was a fight to get the back screw in with a tourpack.

It should be easy to put a seat on. Older style seats with the cables, are BS. I got one that is a mess. They claim installed wrong. Again, it should not be hard to install a seat. Any monkey can do it.

I have had Corbin seats, Dual Tour and very comfortable. But if that is the best they can do I would want my money back and do business elsewhere.

Maybe try calling back and hopefully get a different manager or the manager's manager. Like someone else stated, that seam is definitely stretched, I didn't notice that the first time.

Am I expecting too much since this is a hand-made cover, or would it bother you too?
I ordered a Corbin seat and back rest for one of my other bikes, It was hosed up like yours. Sent it back and got another seat that was hosed up. Never got another Corbin again.

That's off by quite a bit; maybe 3/8".
I understand & respect hand made products, but that's off enough that it would bother me and you're not wrong for feeling similarly (especially since you paid for it).
I suspect that if you marked the current seat where it lines up on the tank strap, and provided several different photos of it installed on the bike, (maybe even include a shot showing the frame with the seat removed.), that they can do a better job than that.

Another option is to consider altering the pattern enough to make room for the expected variation/discrepancy associated with hand made products.
If they can't get it close enough, go with a standard option.

Or turn it over, drill out the rivets, re-align and re-rivet the cover to the pan with better tank strap alignment

House Of thunder HD is not far from Corbin.
I guess it would be unethical for them to check a seat on one of their bikes!

All they have to do is center the stitching equally on each side, they don't need a bike just eyes or maybe a ruler.
