How much weight can safely be added be it travel gear or a passenger?
I've got a 2010RK with Legend Revo-A rear shocks.
When does weight begin to put too much stress on the belt, shocks, etc?
Ive looked in my Clymer manual but dont see any references to that.
Maybe its in the HD Service Manual which I have on order.
My main reason for asking is my 180# son wants me to take him for a ride.
I've only ridden with his 110# mother on the back.
Tx!
Read your owner's manual, the information is in there.
As I stated......I can't find any reference to weight in Clymer and my HDSM wont arrive for another week.
I wanted to take my son for a ride TODAY!
Tx.
How heavy are you? Unless 350+ it's a non-issue. This information would be in the OWNERS manual, not a service manual. Owners manuals are free on HD's website. https://serviceinfo.harley-davidson....cle/lookupForm
Wow!
The word "OWNERS" didn't even stick out!
I juts read "MANUAL" and thought it was the service manuals.
My mistake!
I dont have an owner's manual but Ill go to the site suggested and get one.
And tx for the tip on the down tube info!
BTW........that info is certainly in the HDSM also right?
