Default 04 roadking Need help with wiring issue, 🙏

Hey guys new here. Came for an answer if anyone can help me out. Just got a beautiful 04 roadking, 10k original miles. With all the bells and whistles. So was taking trunk off and realized it's not quick connected, so placed it back on bike and had my girl plug her side of the lights back in and noticed a smell when testing the lights out, turned it off, but not quick enough , geez.....

now rear right signal light AND RIGHT TRUNK light won't come on, so I dug in and found the culprit...can anyone enlighten me what this yellow box is for and if I can just replace it? Thanks ahead of time ! And thanks for having me!

Well my guess is tempered by the fact that there is a lot of "custom" wiring under your seat... SO heaven only knows what the prior owner has added/changed/"fixed"....

I hate it when people mess with a bike's harness, and cut into it all over the place...

It could be an old Run/Turn/brake module. From the factory, the rear turn signals are only turn signals. The R/T/B module allows them to function as turn signals, AND running lights and brake lights.. If your bike was set up that way, the module plugs in between the connector of the main harness to the rear lights, under the seat..

But again, with all that "custom" wiring, it could be almost anything...

Default OK ty

Well I forgot to mention he installed a strobe brake system , but unplugged them for a law that was just passed here in indy. so im thinking it's a control for those? Idk, I guess I either need to find that same box and replace it or figure out how to pull it all out and go back to the simplicity of having a working signal light lol. Thanks for the quick reply man.
