Smoke Passing Lamps

Hey All,
Just wondering if anyone has added the HD68273-03A smoke passing lamps to their ride? I have done the smoke turn signals and a Kury laydown smoke tail light on my 05' RKC. I really like the look but worry about how much light will diminish using these.

Just spent a few hundred miles behind a buddy with the smoked lenses. No difference at night but it did seem to mute them in high daylight.

The question I have is, how bad will it look since the headlight is not smoked? I figure to keep the passing lamps clear to match the headlight, and the turns signals are all smoke. JMHO

Or, put in amber bulbs in the passing lamps. Those look cool on certain color bikes.

I have definately been thinking of that PapaT. Not sure how well they will blend vs the "Cyclops look". Gonna have to go to the stealer and hold up a couple to make a decision.
