Default Aiming BD LP6 headlights

For those of you that run these lights where do you have them “aimed”? It has been suggested that I aim them “down” about 5 degrees. I started there then went to 4 degrees. The hi beam “hot spot” is only about 20 feet in front of my bike. This makes me think I should get rid of the “down” angle. OR….do you find that the hi beams “hot spot” is not really needed and sufficient light is achieved with the hi beams on but pointed a bit at the ground?

These lamps are are mounted to a ‘23 CVO Anniversary RG. Thanks much.

On all vehicles - 25' from a vertical surface, vehicle parked on a flat, level surface. Measure from the ground to the center of the headlight, place a piece of tape or mark a line at that height on the vertical surface 25' away. Aim the low beam a couple of inches below this line.
On vehicles with dual headlights, the right side lamp can be on the line, the left should be a couple of inches lower.
