I wanted my rear lights to strobe on my 2023 Street Glide.
After doing lots of research and looking at other bikes I purchased the Harley Signature rear lights $135 a set from my local dealer ( I wanted the brightest rear lights after buying dim inexpensive ones on Amazon, the Harley brand is bright! ) and I added the Custom Dynamics Magic Strobe plug -n- play module ( plugs inline under the seat in like 30 seconds ) was $109 from Amazon and my rear lights now do exactly what I was looking for. Super bright strobe with I think 10 strobe options.
I had some questions as to compatibility as the CD Magic strobe suggest I was limited to the wattage draw of the connected lights, I can't say if my Harley lights are technically with-in spec but I been running this setup over the summer a few thousand miles and nothing has stopped working or melted etc so I'm 100% happy and I have under $250 in my setup.
Unfortunately they're not compatible with a 2010 RK.
Too bad........I would like to have tried them.
I've got hogworx and they work great. Front and rear. Drag specialties rear taillight. Custom dynamics triple play. Around 325 for everything. 2012 king.
According to Ronnies, an FLHTK is an Electra Glide Ultra Limited. Oko seems to have no direct knowledge of Road Kings and assumes all Harleys are equipped the same way.If his rear turn signals have not been modified by him or a previous owner, it then seems not all Harleys have the same rear turn signal wiring. Having had 2 Road Kings, I can vouch that the rear turn signals are set up for 1156 Single Contact legacy bulbs, not the wedge base bulbs, and not for two filament bulbs regardless of base type. To get 2 filament bulbs to work as run, turn signal and brake lights would require extensive rewiring. The only EASY way to convert Road King turn signals is with a Harley or after market converter that makes a single filement bulb work at two brightness levels at the appropriate times.
