Looking for advice to install radio/speakers in 05 cop glide
Looking for any advice on installing a radio and speakers in a 05 FLHTPI. Ive heard the cop bikes arent pre wired for a radio. I can turn a wrench but when it comes to wiring Im clueless. I have a radio and speakers, I have the bracket to mount the radio. Do I need an amp? How did you go about wiring yourself?

The answer to your first question is easy, no you don't need an amp. The second question is a BIG question that I'm not sure how to answer. If you're truly clueless when it comes to wiring as you stated then I'd suggest you consider hiring a professional.

Having owned two police model Harleys I can tell you they do have a different wiring harness than the standard models. If you can read a wiring schematic you could see what you need on the net but if you're wire challenged I suggest you let a pro do it.
