Going to place an order tomorrow for my Road King, just curious how y'all like yours. I've tried most others and heard nothing but good about these. They have a Black Friday 20% off deal going so hard to go wrong for that.

C&C Seats are one of the best kept secrets and not the fad of the year. Honestly, I prefer it that way. I have had both a Solo & SportsTouring w/ RBR since 2010. Still in awesome shape.
I wouldn't recommend gel or any of the fancy designs. Each of those stich holes is a point that can allow water into your saddle.
On the other side of this coin, I paid $680 for a C&C seat for my Highway King and took it off in a week. If anyone is interested it's in the original box in my attic.

They do take about 1000 miles to break in for both rider & passenger. A hard saddle once broken in is super comfy on long ride.
I've enjoyed mine on my '13 King. I would say they are a medium firm seat, but suggest you get the backrest, or at the least the built-in hardware for their backrest.
