Default Water proof amp inside fairing

I have a 2015 Ultra. I have an amp installed and noticed after some rain riding that the amp was wet. What is everyone using to water proof your aftermarket amp?

Nothing. Any amp I've installed in a bike has been weather-resistant, like the
Stinger SPX700.4 Stinger SPX700.4
.

I don't know much about all the water resistant or water proof amps, speakers that all the folks here have. The audio section has a ton of folks who really know their stuff for anything motorcycle audio.

I had a Rockford Fosgate system in my Tri-Glide that the wife got me as gift. After about a year, the amplifier had been getting wet and failed.

I was looking for a solution and found a company named '309 custom audio' that makes a waterproof breathable cover for our bikes. It's die cut and hole punched to fit inside the ffairing. I got one, replaced the amplifier and no more water issues. I think I had to email them and they got back pretty quickly with what I was looking for. Worth checking out if your amplifier is working, you like what you got, and don't want to spend a bunch. I think it was around $40.00.

I don't remember which audio company but one company used to sell an amp lining, basically a stick on plastic film. I used it for my first amp but many set ups later I don't use anything. Maybe check the thin gasket that fits between your fairing and windshield.

I would look at sealing up the fairing better as there should be little to no water getting in there. Maybe look at relocating the amp to a spot water wouldnt get to it if it does pass the fairing seals like under the deck , but I would not "seal" the amp up in any way. Amps generate heat, most have internal fans to keep temps down, but if you put plastic around them to shield water or something like that you will make them overheat
