Dancing speedo and tach
Can anyone tell me what happen. I get done washing the scoot the other day and to get her back in the garage I had to start her up. Well when I twisted the center **** to ING and hit the "go" button on the handle bars, both the speedo and tach did a pairs dance to max and then went back to zero. I also noticed that all the indicator lights were on also. Does any one know what was going on and should I be worried about it. I went out for a ride yesterday and it never happend again. Things that make you go ummmmmm...... thanks in advance.... Remi

I had a 00 Standard and had a problem with the tach and speedo gauges pegging but it never failed to run. I checked with some friends who know a hell of a lot more than I do and replaced the voltage regulator and it never happened again.
