Looks like you have your answer.
I lived in Miami for 30 years. My batteries would not last much longer than 2 to 4 years.
Here in Atlanta, my truck and bike batteries last around 5 to 7 years.

Skipped all of the post. Yuasa. What I have been using. Bought from my local independent dealer. Because. That is what they use and recommend. Good enough for me.
