You want Facts. Hmmm. Not sure I have those, but I absolutely have opinions...

Back in the day, for both my Road King and for my Pop's Ultra Classic we upgraded to the ORIGINAL Harley Daymaker series lights for the Headlamp...as well as Passing Lamps. They are very bright, and were a significant improvement over the OEM incandescent bulbs (as well as any aftermarket Halogen bulbs).
They were stupid expensive - especially when compared to the prices you can get for replacements nowadays on Amazon & such.

My opinion - the ORIGINAL H-D Daymaker lights are, without question, the best looking light that has been offered. 2nd Generation Daymakers introduced the 'projector lenses', and in my opinion looked too 'futuristic' and like a 'robot face' to be installed on a bike bike that otherwise looked traditional/classic.
As aesthetic preference is subjective...my opinion is obviously wrong...because pretty much every Headlight available now has that multi-lens, LED, 'robot' appearance - and that's apparently what people want to buy. Just look at all the pics that have been shared in this thread...none of them look 'classic'.

Anyway...that's just my opinion. The newest version of the 7" Daymaker has a bit more of a traditional look...but still doesn't really have the same vibe as the 1st generation.

Example of the original. They're pretty much impossible to find any more:

My 2019 FLHTP came with the HD Daymaker and I was not impressed. There is a blind (dark spot) between the low and high beam. My Sunpie, from amazon, LED set of lights had a superior beam pattern when compared to the HD Daymaker. I am now running the Custom Dynamics Adaptive II headlights. I only use my passing lamps for interstate type riding now. But I will also play with the adjustment on those next week when I am doing my winter maintenance getting ready for February riding.

I agree with @Jumpman . I've had those same H-D Reflectors now for about 10 years and like the look. Although I don't ride much at night, but when I do they serve their purpose. Since H-D no longer sells them, I found replacements at Eagle Lights.

I don't need something like what a Boeing 777 has to light up the road, but am looking at other options for something brighter like many on here. I will be doing more riding this year and possibly more dark hours riding as well. So something brighter to light the road is good.

The S1 turn signals are a nice addition for more light also.
Yes he wired it EU.

I also added the S1 pods. but again, haven't had time to even look at them down the road with the cold and snow.

SunPie with load equalizer & you`re good to go, it casts a nice bright beam and it lasts, just a good reliable well priced headlight. Im with Heyman on the fact that a $500 dollar bug attracting headlight is ridiculous.

Load equalizer for what? I put on Sunpie LED headlight and passing lamps without issues.

Then your lucky, most who do this will have their turn signals flicker when used instead of a nice pulse, many have installed the load equalizer for this issue

If you only do the headlight and passing lamps there is no turn signal involved
