FWIW - I replaced the brake light bulb with a flashing bulb on both my 2010 FLHTK and 42 WLA. Way cheaper than the whole CD set up. They are all over Amazon. Both for the old school 1156 & 57 bulbs and the newer style one. They have internal circuitry to make them flash.

Yes!! I did this on my Heritage, works perfect and was only like 15 bucks for the bulb. Unfortunately my FLHX doesn't have the single bulb brake light bulb
