Thanks of the pics. The Meat Hooks definitely makes them look taller.
It could be the angle of the pics too.
I was going over the bike verifying everything, looking for anything that I may have over looked, and put as much of the bike back together as I could.
I did start the bike to verify that everything works and that no codes were generated. All the hand controls work as they should and the TBW works.
The bars definitely shake more at idle.
I will be taking off the stock handle bars on my new 2025 Road Glide as soon as the dealer gets my Moto Bar FLTRX bars in stock. The stock ape style bars put my hands above the faring and into the wind steam. My hands got cold on a ride the other day in 59 degree temps. I had to put on some cold weather gloves.
In my opinion (not anyone else's), apes decrease slow speed handling ability and reduce comfort on long trips. I will adding a Klock Werks 12" Pro Touring windscreen to put the airflow above my head, and some other enhancements to make it fit my 6'1" frame and 35" inseam.

forgot to mention i also installed poly bushings in the risers.
Nice, I have the same in my bike as well, put them is a couple of years ago. When I performed the initial first test, the bars were shaking pretty good. The bike was suspended above ground on my Pit Bull lift and may have something to do with that. I may end up putting solid bushing in, I'm not sure yet.
Got the Clutch cable +4 today. I'll start the install tomorrow morning.
Stick a Fork in me, I'm done.
The job of replacing the Handle bars is now complete. I think that I did a pretty good job.
I did a test ride and WOW, the bars set my back straight up where I can take advantage of the back rest a little more.
The bike is way more comfortable than I imagined it would be. 😁
All functions on the handle bars and the fairing switch console work fine.
The +4 Cable was a perfect fit, and I used the same path as the OEM cable. I am happy with how it all came out.
Oh, BTW, the ICON snap ring pliers worked great.
Nice job! Looks great and think of the $ you saved and knowledge learned.
I did mine 3 years ago. A lot of work a few errors and do overs but so glad I tackled it myself.

Thanks. Yes, it was a lot of work, but it was actually really fun.
