I really don’t know how tall the stock bars are. If I remember correctly, they are 10” tall.
what I’m looking for is a taller chrome handle bar that will set me back a couple of inches and give me a more comfortable ride.
old guy here, Meathooks Factory 47 are some of the most comfortable handlebars I’ve ever experienced! On my 03 heritage, I’m looking probably for 12inch… maybe 14’s. But for comfort you can’t go wrong with 12inch.

Got the bars yesterday. Removed the old bars. Started the wire migration to the 10". I was going to remove the vinyl harness loom cover and just run the wires. My inner voice was telling me to try it with the vinyl wire loom. It took a bit of patience but I got them in. The clutch side should go a bit easier
This concludes the break side wire harness install. The pins were fun (sarcasm) 😱. Man, I remember replacing a 60 pin over head console plug in a UH60 that was easier to install. But that was when I was young. 😀
Any way, I'm taking a break for a minute.

Fed the clutch side through. I'm done for the night.
Here is a pic of the bars ready to be installed.

I finished the installation of the KST 10" 6 bend bars.
My only issue now is the clutch cable. I can't seem to find a way to rout the cable where I like it.
I'm looking for something that looks like stock if and not like a some hay seed goober stuck it on the bike.
So now I'm thinking of getting a +4 or a +6 inch cable.
So, what do y'all think?
Here is a pic of it so far.

Looks good! Hopefully they feel good to you.

I installed 12” KST Six Bends without a cable extension on a batwing, but I used all the slack. The 10” install that I settled on was no problem, but my 2020 batwing was two bikes ago and I can’t remember exactly how I relocated the clutch cable. KST has good install videos. I recall cutting some zip ties to free up the clutch cable, and I may or may not have removed it from the cable tray on the right side of the neck of the frame, if it has one. I definitely did remove it from the cable tray on my 2024 Road King police.

I've watched the KST videos, some of it was frame by frame so I could see it all. I even went to KST to see how they routed the clutch cable. I did not like it. I want it to look nice, like it is supposed to be there. I'll keep looking.

I have done six sets of bars on three late model touring bikes. Batwing, shark nose, and road king. My experience is you will nearly never get it *exactly* like it came from the factory, whether it is cable clutch or hydraulic clutch, and whether you use extensions or not. A dealer shop can probably do better, but then you end up having to order cables, and then they may or may not be exactly the right length, and I ain’t got time fo dat.

Yup, I understand that. If I had more than one bike, it would not be so bummed out.
I'm looking for function and good looks. The bars look good, and I thank you for your input.
Regardless, I ordered a new +4 clutch cable. It should give me enough cable length to get it done without routing the cable though some funky places.

When I put 14” bars on my Road King because of the tall police seat I ordered a 4” Fat Bagger clutch cable extension, because that is what was available, versus a whole new clutch cable, and I didn’t really know exactly how much I needed. I knew I just needed a little more. They work great, however, what I really needed was about 2.5” - 3”, not 4”, so I still found myself fighting the clutch cable, but this time because I had too much cable to fit it just right in the headlight nacelle, instead of not enough.

It’s always something when changing bar height.

I wanted run clutch cable same routing as factory when I did by 10” Yaffe bars. A +4 did the trick!
