Man thats a good looking shield...
As far as not being able to look through it...
I look over mine and I'm 6'0 with a 9.5" shield...
Now with that said there was a time I had the innner surface of the shield blocked and it took some getting used to to overcome not being able to see thru the shield when I was approching what was in front of me, cars, pot holes, road hazzards...it wouldn't perhaps been so uncomfortable if I wasn't riding in a group and had a rider behind me to make those larger swearves...
I'd be concerned with the wind buffeting with a short shield. I put a 6" on and it vibrates the heck out of my head. Wow. I'm putting the 9 1/2" back on
I run the 8" Flames (no skulls)and am 5'10 and have had no problems. I was thinking of cutting mine down to 6" because I live on a gravel road, and think it may help with missing some of the pot holes. I will try to get some pics up tomorrow.
