Mine was e-mailed from Zippers. (version45_08-16-07) Updating the firmware will not adversely effect your basemap or the "learning" that has already taken place.

I installed the firmware sent to me by stro1965. Itworked fine and eliminated all but a bit of decel popping. Fuel mileage was up for some reason. When I got home, I had an email of a new firmware from Thundermax. I installed it. I will keep posted on how it works out. Wonder what the change from the 8/16 to the 8/22 one? Oh well.
Just rode again with the 8/22 and enabled the decel pop option. It is running better than ever and is getting 46.22 mpg. Pulls very well even in 6th uphill at 50 mph. Bike is about as good as its been.
