07 RoadGlide now with 1600 miles on it. As some of you know I had a problem that started at about 800 miles. Bike just died while at hiway speeds. Dead. Happened 3 times within 200 miles. Took it in and has HD go thru everything. Said they could find nothing. Funny thing is is that it STOPPED right after I took it in the shop......until today! 600 miles later and it's BACK.....90 miles into my ride today and it did it twice within 15 miles apart at hiway speeds. [:@] Then was fine the other 100 miles I rode......... Ahhhhhhhh!
Does it start right back up after it DIES? Does it happen at cruising speeds, when you are slowing down to stop, or accelerating from a stop? Could be a tuning issue....a PCIII would solve that!
I have a friend that had an Ultra with Stage 1 download. His bike kept dying and the service department went nuts trying to figure it out. Even HD was struggling with it until someone discovered they had downloaded the incorrect program into the ECU. This might be the cause of your woes.
Id say thats your problem, just a FYI all harleys downloads for the 07 are regulated and EPA compliant, even if they did the correct download it still is not running its best. I have the vance and hines fuel pack for mine it was setup by them for the 07 or the PCIII from fuel moto might be a option, they are the only ones offerering 07 maps so far but I think you have to remove the 02 sensors, they stay in place with the fuel pack. but bet that will cure your problem and make it run much better. IMO

Just running the Harley system. They even remapped it. What are your thoughts?
What of fuel petcock do you have? Several years back I had a suzuki that had a vacuum control fuel petcock - no manual lever - it opened based on suction from the engine.
Took a while to trace the problem to it- turned out it was defective and would just shut closed while riding
I had a 87 Low rider and it kept doing that, well come to find out the gas cap vents were clogged so it caused a vacume, weirdest thing. After replaceing that, it was fine.
