Default Check engine light

I got a question. Maybe someone can answer this and help me out. I have a 2011 ultra limited. Been having issues with with the map sensor and iat. I finally got it to run right. I was over thinking when I was working on it. I had changed head pipes and now I have returned it. It runs like a champ again. But the check engine light is staying on. I use the Dynojet PV4 tuner. I can check the map sensor while it is running and according to the ECM the map sensor is working because you can see the pressure change. But the bike keeps showing code p0108 . I was wondering because I changed map sensor it has tge ECM confused. I went with a fueling. Com map sensor. Should I get one from Harley. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks Jim

For your 2011 Harley Ultra Limited, the P0108 code means Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor Circuit High Voltage, indicating the engine's computer (ECM) is getting an abnormally high voltage reading from the MAP sensor, often pointing to a faulty sensor, bad wiring/connections, or a vacuum leak. You'll likely see symptoms like rough idling, poor fuel economy, hesitation, or stalling, and should check the sensor, its wiring, and for vacuum leaks around the intake manifold to diagnose the issue.

I am thinking broken wire?

When this first started I went threw everything. I checked for vacuum leaks. Checked fuel injectors. Changed map sensor, Checked fuel pressure and pulled tank to make sure I did have any water in the gas. Put the old map sensor back on and it still would not run right. I mean it would not idle and if you were riding you had to stay in it and it would run fine. It would stall at red light. Then I realized that it all started when I changed my pipes I have Cobra power port 2-1-2 whit V & H big ovel tips . So I returned the bike and it runs great no missing no stalling just the check engine light. I checked the wires when it first started. And the checked good. I was going to put the old Bosch map sensor. And see what it does but I guess I thew it way. But thanks for the information I guess I will go back check the wires

Thanks Jim

Have you run any auto-tune sessions with the PV4? If not, you may want to run a couple and see what it does.

My thought was that you changed the pipes and that may affect airflow/tune and maybe the MAP or fuel ratio had something to do with it. A couple of auto tune session would confirm if smoothing our the fuel ratio was cause the problem.

My thought may not be correct or full of $hit; however, it is free to try. lol

As above also, check the connectors and wires going into the MAP sensor.

When you checked the wires, did you ohm them or pull on them.. You need to pull on them.

yep...the wires are so thin that they can break inside the insulation just from disconnecting the sensor plug. same as the induction module plug wires.
