I run the HD soft lowers when needed in the summer and early fall. For fall and winter I bolt the HD Hard lowers on. The soft lowers do an OK job of keeping the wind and water off of your legs. I like how quickly you can install them and remove them. Sort of like rain gear for the bike. The material ones I have fold up to the size of a cigarette pack so storage is no problem.

I'll put in another vote for the Airlites. Thay take all of 5 minutes to put on or take off, no snaps, one piece and have theor own carry bag. Very Nice!

I like this idea, it would extend my riding season in Colorado and provided some comfort.

They are fitted for the bike and strech tight across the crash guard and held in place with heay duty velcro. Don't budge when on but easy to get on and off.

Just installed mine a couple days ago. Look and fit are great and they protect the feet and direct the engine heat onto you but they seem to create a lot of wind on the body and head. Not sure I like them. Haven't had them on the thruway yet and now it has warmed up again. Have any of you noticed the same thing. This is on a Road King.
