Can't seem to find the desert dawgs site, but here's a product just like them with more options......I think Harley sells the "desert dawgs" and a few of the aftermarket places...J and M...etc
Does anyone make leather engine guard covers like normal but that'll also kitty-corner up and tie to the frame neck, giving more protection in the area above the engine guard and below the windshield/fairing?
I've always used the HD quick release soft lowers; I keep them in a saddle bag in case of rain. I've had my current set for six years, and they're still fine. I also think they're cheaper than the desert dawgs.
HD soft lowers are about 40 bucks, add the fork air baffle to keep the air from sneaking up the back side of the fairing/front of the tank and you are good to 20 degrees. Don't ask how I know this.
