The only thing that will fix this is what the Baker F6F does. ... HD should have done it themselvers. Why they didn't is anyones guess.
There's no guessing involved. The reasons they didn't do what Baker did should be obvious. Greatly increased thrust on the transmission shafts results from it. Look what Baker had to do with the bearings and backing plates. Totally unnecessary.
