What is this?
It's on a used OEM (Brembo/Harley) rotor I'm considering buying (23K).
About the same price of a new TCMT or other aftermarket rotor which doesn't have it.
Neither does the one on my bike I need to replace.
Is this a repair or some kind of a adjustment, maybe balance? If so why isn't it on aftermarket new ones.

Harley's early attempt at floating rotors. Was common back in 2007-ish? I forget.
Thank you for that - yep, it's from and going on a 2008.
I now see some of the current ones have those "pins" with rubber bushing all the way around completely isolating the inner part of the rotor from the outer. It doesn't seem like one would do much.
Ordered it. I just went 2 days hearing my rotor grind before getting off my *** to address the problem and taking it off the grooves were so deep.
