Well lets see here, I started off in the bike life at 7 years old on a 1966 250cc Harley Sprint that was made in Italy and had everything on it backward. Found it in my neighbors barn and he gave it to me if I could handle it. Went from there to a used 80 dirt bike as a teen and a 1998 used super glide was my first adult street bike that I got used at a dealer. When I got my new 04 Road King I bought it for the ride. It ended up beingthe only when its not raining rides and if it had a bug on the headlight it had to come off before it ruinedthe bike. I don't know why, but I guess it feels like my bike is more like a kid to me then a motorcycle. I truly think it is because I have always owned used bikes or other then perfect bikes and now that I have my dream bike I am afraid that it will not be there unless Icheck the garage 5 times a day to see if it is still there. I feel bad if I get it dirty. I do ride my bike a lot but only after I check the weather channel and wash and wax it. Thanks for the phyc. section send me your bill

Congratulations. You win the STUPID QUOTE of day award.
Vindyl, a "True Blue" biker doesn't just go out and buy his bike, he builds it from scratch and rides with pride. Miles do not make a biker, a righteous attitude does. [sm=badbadbad.gif][sm=badbadbad.gif][sm=badbadbad.gif]
So i am to belive you built yours! you prob like O.C.C. bikes also I will be building mine into a custom this winter
Troll or not, yes I built it in my dining room, designed the frame myself and did all the assembly. The details would take a lot of space so I won't go into it. Customizing is a rewarding effort, hope it is enjoyable for you, you may get more of an appreciation for the others who have sweated over their own. OCC sucks!
