Well I ride mine i have a 96 EG i average around 10k to 15k a year And my take is that alot of YUPPIES who wish to feel like they are for a lack of better words BADASSES Buy harleys so they can feel "COOL" and as far as you ride when you get a chance BULLSHIT I am sure you find time for other thing you make the time to ride if you love to ride then you ride to work ride to the store ride to the barber shop any chance you get you ride if you can take the cage well why not take the bike I have a friend of mine who i dont ride with because he has a 2003 with 5k on it and he bought it new with the idea that its gonna be worth something someday thats no reason to buy a bike and as far being worth anything its a 2003 gunmetal pearl dyna wideglide just like a million others and not worth a ****in penny now or ever gun metal paint is the ugliest **** ever and worth 3k less just because of that color so if you buy a bike ride it if not dont buy because all of us TRUE BLUE bikers still make fun of you yuppies and have no respect for you
Aren't you the same artard that said you listen to Korn in my music post? I don't think you have any room to talk about TRUE bikers or posers. Why don't you go pogo around with all the other Nopi retards in your Honda Civic forums and leave this one alone. What are you, 12? I saw Korn live at Ozzfest and all Isaw was 12 year old girls screaming thinking they were hard for wearing black nail polish and huge pants. And just an FYI... a real "biker" is someone who sticks by their buddies and helps out their friends and family when in need. I have known guys who have put more miles on their bikes in a year then you probably will your whole life driving to your Korn concerts trying to impress the 12 year old girls, and they know what it is to be a "biker". A real biker wouldn't flame someone else for not riding enough. Oh, and is Rob Halford your definition of a real biker since he wears all that leather? I think it is time for you to go to Jiffy Lube for an oil change in that Civic you have hiding in the garage. It takes nuts to get on a bike for 1 mile or 100,000 miles. Hats off to anyone on any bike that gives it a shot. Just not you...

97% of the harley riders are POSERS then you have the 2% who ride and then the 1%ers who live on there bikes[/blockquote]

The word is "poseur." If you're going to blather on at least have the smarts to use the correct terminology.

[/blockquote]

If you google poser and poseur, it looks like either one means the same thing. This is from the Merriam-Webster online dictionary:

Main Entry: 2poser
Function: noun
Etymology: 1pose
: a person who poses

I still think I'm right as it applies to the original post -
po¡seur play_w("P0463500")(p-zr, pzr)n. One who affects a particular attribute, attitude, or identity to impress or influence others.

BUT - I can be flexible - as long as you continue to use the sig picture[sm=groupwave.gif].
Have a great day.
