Default Best headlight replacement bulb?

I just noticed my low beam is blown. Passing lights sure don't light up much. My high beam is awesome, but it pisses a lot of people off. I have rigged all lights on with hi-beam.What's the best replacement for headlight and passing lights, without too much heat orelec draw?

I use PIAA, bright and I have had no problems with them, much easier to be seen with a good bulb.

Sylvania silverstar h4st is very bright but they don't seem to last very long. Maybe 6 months at the most in my experience.

i bought from these guys last week. got a 80/100 h4. put it on a couple days ago. wow....much better! it's not a sylvania or osram but it's pretty bright. i'm a little leery about possible heat issue but i'll keep an eye on it. bought a 55/60 too, just in case.

GLIDE: Have you been running this bulb for awhile now? Just curious about the low beam being 80 watts of draw on the system or the High beam of 100 watts. If these are the bulbs I have heard about from Germany, they are supposed to be of good quality. Also, is the light more of a white color. Thanks for any info... KB
