Been searching around the posts but could not find what I was looking for, so wondering if you know of an after market stereo that is IPOD ready, with SIRUS and is marine quality for weather. I have the Harley factory radioon my 02 Ultra.
I have an IPOD that I run through the system now but I would like to have it use the bikes power supply and not the IPOD battery supply, seems to drain quick.
Checked out Biketronics and E-Glide goodies. Also still want the hand controls to function.
Thanks,
You might want to try hawg wired or biketronics. I know they have a plug and play for sony stereos so u can use your handlebar controls. I have a Alpine dvd player on my streetglide. Yeah I know, I went a lil overboard puttin in a dvd player, but i got a great deal. Anyways, the guy installed it and useda kit from a steering wheel control, tapped it in and im now using my bar controls for my deck. even controls my ipod with it. yup....its great.

Since we are on the subject, when you do install a Sirius unit on your bike, do you still need to use the Cigarette lighter plugin or can it be wired direct somehow? I would like a clean dash install without wires running all over the place.
