Can someone who has a stock EG/FLHTC give me a measurment on how tall the bike sits from top of shield to the ground - meaning what is the lowest height the bike could pass under?? My RG with a cut shield is right at 53 inches ... Need that measurment for a stock EG
one way to measure is to take either a tap or yard stick - rest it on the highest point of the ing switch and then lay another yard stick from the top of the shield over to the tape... on my cut shield on my RG that measurment is about 14"
My 06 EGS , with the stock 12" shield is 58 1/2" from the floor to the top of the shield.
With me sitting on the bike (175 lbs) and 10 lbs of rear shock pressure and bike straight up.
Wife held the tape measure and I held a level to it for the measurement.
