I researched the heated stuff pretty well before purchasing the Jacket liner and gloves. I went with "warm and safe" Here is the link to them. They have also just developed a glove that they sell that is comperable to the Gerbing G3 and less money.
The jacket liner is IMHO much better then the Gerbing and Widder. The heat controller though alittle more bulky size wise the the gerbing was a much better deal.
HD heated gloves are made by Gerbing. I have gloves, vest, socks, and most important dual control termostat. You will need the control unit unless your good at unplugging wire on the roll. If you know what I mean. They get pretty dam hot!
Purchased at motorcycle show New York. Gerbing always at internation motorcycle shows.
I guess I will have to check out the New York show this year. I want some heated gloves as well as chaps for my wife and I.
Just got our jacket liners and overpants back from Gerbings. We had the plugs updated to the newer COAX style. We ride all years round provided there is no snow or ice. Gerbings is the way to go. Heated grips (had em on my BMW) are nice for fall days, but useless when its colder. They warm the palms but the top of your hand gets cold, so heated gloves are the way to go.
You have a $20k motorcycle and live in a cold climate, no reason to leave it in the garage cause its cold out. Winter riding (barring ice and snow) is great with the right gear.
If you live near Union Washington you can go to the main office. They have a"defects" binwith discountedappareletc. I got a pair of snowmobile gloves that have no visable defects for $75.00 with all thepower supply & switch parts included. Plus they have a lifetime warrantee.I swear by them, they are a small operation & try harder than the big outfits toprovide a good product.

Gerbing/HD are the one and the same. The jacket liners are great. Their gloves are slightly warm and don't help much below the freezing mark. I'm going to try the new WarmNSafe gloves this winter

Gunnert,
Please PM me with your evaluation of the WarmNSafe gloves? I find the Gerbing gloves to be useless. I do like the Gerbing jacket liner and Gerbing pants. But the gloves just are not warm enough... even WITH heated grips. Thanks, Keith
