Fact is....any of the brand name 5.25" speakers on the market are FAR better than stock Harley speakers and will drop right in. Polk, Boston Accoustics, Sony, Pioneer, Infinity and JBL's (and others) are a huge improvement and deliver better bass than most stockers while handling all the volume and wheather you can throw at them. When compared to the Hog Tunes or JM products, it's up to a persons own taste to determine which sounds better to them (subjective).

The JBL's GTO 527's are a great improvement over stock and are priced at half the price of many others including the aforementioned. I've used them, liked them a lot and have no complaints at all. Get a good set of coaxial speakers and you're good to go. Period!

Speaking of speakers...this bike doesn't need loud pipes.

Very interesting thread.&nbsp\\; I just put a Dead Center fairing on my Road King, and love having the tunes.&nbsp\\; The speakers however, Polk, with a tweater in the middle, leave a little to be desired when I crank em up, and have the bass on.&nbsp\\; Been considering an upgrade but now I'm really confused.&nbsp\\; Don't mean to hijack this thread, but if somebody has some good cousel, I'm all ears.&nbsp\\; PM me if more convenient.&nbsp\\; CCRyder

Funny.

Not going to get into the Jbl's verses Jm's , I havent had the pleasure of hearing the jm
's up close, But I DID put in the Jbl gto 527 in my 07 Sg, I've been on the border of being legaly deff since birth and can not hear tones for ****, But I can definetly tell ya that the jbl's kick the stock speakers butt, I could not hear the stock speakers at 70 miles an hr and I can definetly hear the Jbl's, Just my .02.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;&nbsp\ \;&nbsp\\; T
