I have on ’08 RKC. I’ve had it about 1-month. This morning I found a small (approx 3/8 outside diameter) snap ring on the garage floor on the right side of the bike.
I have a pretty active garage, but I can’t recall anything I’ve done there recently that had a snap ring like this, but who knows for sure. I inspected the bike and didn’t find anything obviously amiss, but I’m no expert. I road the bike to work as normal and had no malfunctions, but I am worried about something possibly vibrating loose if this ring is from the bike.
Does anyone know if snap rings like this are used anywhere on the ’08 RKC? I’ll give the dealership a call too, but I’d like to hear from this knowledgeable group as well.
