Would you get some nice chrome wheels ora big bore first?
My wife and I are pretty heavy together and the bike is sluggish ridding 2 up. However it's not like I'm racing anyone and most of my riding is riding alone (no other bikes).
But the rims on the other hand will be a sure head turner and I am adicted to bling.
Before someone say it, I can't afford to do both at the same time.
I would do the engine work first, you can alkways add chrome later..... chrome isn't what is going to give you the power to avaid accidents, wheels , you might find them cheaper as time goes by, gives you time to look around, maybe you will find something better...
it really depends on what you really want. If the bike has enough power for both of you and you said most of your riding is by yourself then I really would go with the wheels. you said it best your not racing anybody if that was your main thing they you got the wrong bike. dont get me wrong the extra power would be great but do you really see yourself needing it. my opinion and again its only an opinion do the wheels first you can always have the engine done during the winter so you wont miss what remains of the nice days.
Great points....keep them coming. I live in Houston so not much of a winter.....I forgot to consider down time with the Big Bore. I would have to wait for my buddy to do the work and he's now a full time Dad when he's not at work.
