I have a set of the 2.0s. I've been very happy with the sound...not that loud unless you get on em. I've donethe stage one also with an Arlen Ness AC and Thundermaxtuner. I was getting some decel popping until the latest Thundermax upgrade with all but resolved the problem. I'd recommend em.

I have 2.0 on my '07 RoadGlide and I love them. Great sound.

I really like my 1.75. Chrome is outstanding, mounted great and they sound better than I expected.

I bought the Rush Baloney cuts and put them on my Ultra today. They come standard with the 2.25" baffles and the sound is low and distinct, no tinny clatter at all. Also, the mechanic at the dealership said on the 08 models you don't need to change the EFI because the 02 sensors willtake care of it as is, and, they recommend doing the air cleaner upgrade at the same time. Supposedly this is something new for the 08's.

I find that hard to believe. If you don't change the AC you can get away with it but if you change the AC and the mufflers and don't adjust the AFR you are asking for trouble down the road. HD would have had to put an entirely different adjustable EFI unit in to compensate for changes. I don't think they would do that. Not only would that negate some bottom line dollars but it would cost them who knows how much to incorporate.

I've got 1.75 on the right, 2.25 on the left (left side doesn't get as much as the right) on stock headpipes. Sound is great. Very balanced this way, and I picked up some performance over running straight 2.25's.

Interesting, I emailed Epiflex and asked them what to run on my 98" motor and they said 1.75 on the left and 2.25 on the right.

I don't know if its B.S. or not. I didinstall the Rush slip-ons but notan SE Air Cleaner. Someone else was talking about this too on a different page.

When I do it, I'm going with the Thundermax closed loop system. This whole "void the warranty" thing isvery confusing. I don't know "one" person that still runs their Hog stock. I bought the extended warranty, but I'll cancel it, if adding pipes and an air cleaner, andefi enhancementwill void it. Shiit, I can put the extended warranty money into engine upgrades.

Harley says the same thing about some of their SE performance products. I know this was the case with the old SEII's, and is most likely the case with an SE igntion, or similar high performance product. But...they also said in a recent issue of Hogtails, that HD Syn3 oil is "the only synthetic oil that will not effect your warranty". Bull crap on the oil theory, but I suppose they could try to wiggle out of warranty claims with high performance products... but I'm sure you could get out of that by keeping the stock parts and throwing them back on prior to warranty service, if need be.

They can't do it. There's no way to ensure compliance with the EPA regulations if they provide an ECU with a "hood you can open" to tweak within.

Yes, you can buy the SERT but then your ride ain't street legal anywhere. Even if you have it adjusted exactly the same as stock, it ain't legal to use on public roads because it's adjustable.

Look at what Dynojet did to the PC-IIIusb-ex. They cut the nut-sack clean off so they could sell it in California. You cannot adjust anything within the "normal" riding-range of operation.
