I am tempted to try 11". Anyone done that on a RK custom. Thanks
I run 11.5 440 HD's and lowered an inch in the front w/Progressive's kit. I'm 100% happy with the ride and handling. Although this past weekend I had a floorboard dragging incident...LOL.
I initially wanted to go lower in the rear,a friend of mine has 11 inch 440's on his dyna, so before I bought the 11.5's,I did a quick swap one weekend. I liked the look of the bike lowered the additional 1/2 inch, but the tire rubbed the fender and the shocks bottomed out over moderate bumps. You'd most likely not be able to ride two up with the 11 inch shocks.
IM runnig a 21"x31/2 inch rim & its got the harley lowing 1" lowering kit & Im 100% satified its also lowered 21/2 inches in the back the only problem i have is the back tire rubing onthe back fenderIm running a 16x31/2.
