Recently like a couple days ago i noticed some pinging in all the low gears then goes away
Stealer says he can give me some kinda download (gotta be better then stock right?) and a AC
will this help???
I'm new on this site and i must say i like it enjoy reading all the bs on here I like all these new phrases like I'm a harley rider not a harley owner. I'm in Calif near San Jose Hello everyone get a Street Glide they are awsome rigs........ funny now i love the heat
What the dealer is offeringis a remap which should helplower the heat of your engine, high heat may be the cause for pinging andhopefully that will do the trick. Also, make sure your using 93 octane fuel, lower octane fuel will cause your motor to most likely run like crap. Good luck!
yeah this is my first bike and man what a feeling i kinda like the stock exhaust as you eventually just open those sukers up..by riding the crap out of the bike right?? i notice there waking up slowly but do need more sound and air..
so doc should i take the download from the stealer in the mean time ???
Well so much for the HD closed loop fuel injection system.
all the normal sensors and the O2 sensors should be controlling the fuel air ratioand timing to eliminate the pinging.
well I guess HD still hasn't got it right. You can only go so lean with an air cooled engine. One day they will wake up, maybe.
But yes a remap and a full flow air cleaner will help.
