Oil Pressure Indication
I have an 07 Ultra and have recently noticed that the oil pressure light does not come on when switching the bike on and putting the cut-off switch in the run position. The bulb DOES come on for about 2 seconds for the lamp test function then extinguishes. I do not recall how the indication worked when the bike was delivered.
The bulb also comes on for about 2 seconds when shutting down the bike then it extinguishes as well.
I am not overly concerned about the light since the bike has an oil pressure gauge which I glance at while riding.
Is this normal operation for this indicator, or do I have a bad pressure switch that needs to be changed out at next shop visit?

Don't know about the 07's
But all previous years the light comes on when the ignition
switch is first turned on, and it stays on till oil pressure
turns it off.
Better check the manual or the dealer.
Neutral will if bike was in neutral beforehand
High beam if it was left on.
And the check egine light as it goes through the post.
