Get the Ultra Classic, thenspend the 5 grandmaking it yours, like the rest of us. Best ride on the planet. Better yet make it SE Ultra Classic and get all the goodies at once.

And as far as a new bike is concerned. I bought a rk custom, and I love the bike. But, my next bike will be an Ultra. Has all the bells and whistles you would ever want, IMO.
If your going to do the 2-up and longer & longer trips.... GO FULL DRESSER.... you'll be glade you did in the long run
RK's are nice but no where near as nice on LONGER TRIPS... (still have my '01 RKC)
I went with the ROAD GLIDE as it really is the Best Handling Tour Bike HD Makes - Added a detachable TourPak for the LONGER TRIPS and besides really didn't need the CB anyway
I just bought an Ultra - sold my RoadKing - I can't tell you how much easier it is to ride - handle and the better half likes the comfort - if she is happy - I am happy. Go for it!
