Get the Ultra Classic, thenspend the 5 grandmaking it yours, like the rest of us. Best ride on the planet. Better yet make it SE Ultra Classic and get all the goodies at once.

Go for the Ultra - I did the same, figured it would be cheaper to just buy the Ultra. I haven't had one regret.

Hey, Dalton you got a side view of you bike?
He has a bunch in his photo album. Click the little camera under his avatar.

And as far as a new bike is concerned. I bought a rk custom, and I love the bike. But, my next bike will be an Ultra. Has all the bells and whistles you would ever want, IMO.

If your going to do the 2-up and longer & longer trips.... GO FULL DRESSER.... you'll be glade you did in the long run

RK's are nice but no where near as nice on LONGER TRIPS... (still have my '01 RKC)

I went with the ROAD GLIDE as it really is the Best Handling Tour Bike HD Makes - Added a detachable TourPak for the LONGER TRIPS and besides really didn't need the CB anyway

Just bought an 06 Ultra last week. This is my first Harley and I love it.

The wife and I have over 500 miles on her since last Wed and are riding to work daily on it. We ride an hour each way to/from work.

Plenty of storage and a great level of comfort.

You won't regret it.

2007 Road King is less than a year old and I'm regretting not buying the Ultra.

I just bought an Ultra - sold my RoadKing - I can't tell you how much easier it is to ride - handle and the better half likes the comfort - if she is happy - I am happy. Go for it!
