From an older point of view:

When we were young & imortal, yes I did things like that. Good reflexes & good luck got me through.

Middle aged & experienced, I did less of it, but still pushed the envelope at times. Luck & experience got me through.

Older, & hopefully smarter, You now ride in front. I can handle my own ride, but my reflexes aren't good enough to make up for your mistakes. You have the reflexes, here's hoping you have the luck!
